Barbados Expresses Interest in Signing DTA with Brazil

June 18 — Barbados Prime Minister Freundel Stuart expressed his country’s interest in deepening relations with Brazil and concluding an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation. Stuart made his comments June 16 during a meeting with Brazil’s Ambassador Luiz Seixas De Andrade. Stuart said the relationship between the two countries has “deepened since GOL Airlines has been plying the Barbados/Brazil route, and we look forward to exploring the ways and means by which we can deepen it further.”

Spain will submit DTA with Barbados to parliament

Tweet Spain’s Cabinet on March 11 approved the submission to parliament of a double taxation agreement with Barbados along with a Memorandum of Understanding. The Council of Ministers authorized the treaty on November 26, 2010 and it was signed on December 1, 2010.
